We attended AU 2023 last year and were excited to be back at this year’s conference. 

We presented an in-person session on Transforming the Calculation Process: Revit as a Structural Design Platform on Thursday, October 17. This session was hosted by ENERCALC Senior Structural Engineer, Seth Roswurm, in collaboration with Paul Waite, Senior Structural Engineer for Gabbart and Woods. Learn more about our session here

This year’s SEAOC convention included The Northwest Conference bringing together the 4 northwest states (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana) and British Columbia.

ENERCALC “ghost hosted” a booth at SEASC. We had schedule conflicts so we couldn’t attend in person, but we bought booth space and supplied marketing materials, ENERCALC stickers, and a not-quite-life-size cardboard standup version of our Director of Engineering, Chris Conrad. He was much in demand in 2023, so we had to send him in some form this year:)

In 2023’s NASCC, we hosted an exhibitor’s booth and several Exhibitor Workshop sessions including Intuitive Structural Design with ENERCALC.

We have a booth at NASCC 2024 (booth #1925) and will also offer educational product training sessions in room 303A (details below).

  • WHAT: In-Person Session: Structural Engineering BIM: Project Success Via Best Practices and Innovation
    • In this session, we’re excited to collaborate with nationally acclaimed structural engineering firm PES Structural Engineers.   In addition to being an ENERCALC customer for nearly 30 years, PES is a Revit-focused team with vast expertise in BIM-driven delivery of structural designs.  PES Digital Design Manager Matt Sweeney, PE, SE, will cover practical uses of Revit software for structural projects and explore use of innovative structural design tools that integrate with the Autodesk BIM ecosystem.  Matt will be joined by ENERCALC Senior Structural Engineer, Seth Roswurm, PE, SE, who will discuss ENERCALC’s latest innovations in Revit integration and examine actual case studies of successful projects delivered by PES Structural using ENERCALC for Revit.
