- Our Segmental Retaining Wall module was completely revised in 2019 to support calculations from NCMA Design Manual for Segmental Retaining Walls – 3rd Edition.
- Most NCMA 3rd edition failure modes are supported.
- Calculations offer both seismic and non-seismic conditions.
- Additional factors of safety are supported – including designer control over minimum acceptable factors (or use standard values).
- More internal values are provided for back-checking and review.
Manufacturer Block Data Included
Our Segmental Retaining Wall module includes manufacturer block data for Allan Block, Anchor Retaining Wall, Keystone Retaining Wall, and Versa-Lok. You may also enter your own block data and reference it repeatedly without having to re-enter it.
Manufacturer Geogrid Data Included
Our Segmental Retaining Wall module includes geogrid data for Mirafi, Strata Systems, and Versa-Grid. You can enter your own geogrid data and reference it repeatedly without having to re-enter it.

History
ENERCALC’s earth-retention modules originated in RetainPro, which was originally designed by the ENERCALC founder’s father (Hugh Brooks, PE), a California structural engineer. In 2020, all of RetainPro’s modules were overhauled and incorporated into ENERCALC where they are now maintained.
