Can we store Project Files locally?

They are automatically stored on the cloud server, but there is an option to download them and save them to a local drive on your computer.

What happens to our cloud-stored Project Files if we allow our MSP to expire?

Cloud-stored Project Files will continue to be stored on the cloud for an indefinite period of time, but since you will not be able to access them, you will want to download them to a local machine if you intend to discontinue your MSP.

Can I use my current project files?

Yes. See the documentation on how to upload your project files to your cloud account.

How long after subscribing to the Cloud version will my project files be available?

This has not been determined as of Dec 2015, however we anticipate they will be around 6 months.  So if you discontinue your cloud subscription, it is advisable to download your projects to your local computer.

Can I print calculations to my local printer?

Yes. When you select to print on the Cloud version the printout is sent to your computer as a PDF file.  That file will be launched, displayed and then you can print it out.

I just printed to PDF, now where did it go??

When you print to PDF in your browser, it goes to wherever you have told your browser to store downloads.

How can I make my PDF reports open automatically?

Steps below are for Chrome.  Other browsers will be similar:

1.Go to Settings > Advanced > Downloads.  Looks for the item that says, "Open certain file types automatically after downloading" and click the Clear button.

2.In ENERCALC SE, print one report.  It will download and a link should be visible on the status bar.

3.Click the up arrow on the link and then choose "Always open in Adobe Reader", or "Open with system viewer".  The system viewer option refers back to whatever application is related to the .PDF extension in Windows.
