Why can't I select "Reduce lap splice by stress ratio" or "Reduce hooked embedment by As req'd/As provided" on the Stem tab when ACI 318-19 is the referenced design standard?

 

Section 25.5 covers lap splices, and section 25.5.1.4 prohibits the reduction of development length when calculating lap splice lengths.

 

Section 25.4.3 covers development of standard hooks in tension, and section 25.4.10.2(d) prohibits the reduction of development length for hooked, headed, and mechanically anchored

deformed reinforcement.
