Resolving Network File Speed & Lockup Problems

Do you have any recommendations for improving the performance of ENERCALC SEL when Project Files are accessed across a Local Area Network or are saved on systems like Dropbox or OneDrive?

When a Project File is opened, ENERCALC SEL creates a local copy of the file in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\ENERCALC, and refers to that locally saved file during the current file worksession to minimize the potential for conflicts with read/write attempts across a local area network or thorough a replicator such as Dropbox or OneDrive.

While this system works great for most users, some may still experience trouble working across local area networks or through replicators like Dropbox or OneDrive.  In these cases, it is recommended to copy an ENERCALC Project File from a network location to a local folder such as C:\Users\[username]\Documents\ENERCALC Project Files, and work from a locally saved copy.  Then save and close the Project File, and copy it back to the network location if desired.
