# Project Manager Tab

The Project Manager tab, where the divisions and calculations in the open project are organised, printed and recalculated.

The **Project Manager** tab is where you work with the project you have open. It lists the divisions in the project and the calculations inside each one, alongside a preview of the report.

<figure><img src="https://1931013002-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCJiQeXXhOF4Ta3ofhPzy%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-6b138fccc710a2e1e5951d30756fb40fbbffe2bd%2Fonboard-project-manager.png?alt=media" alt="The Project Manager tab showing the toolbar, the Division filter and search box, a tree of divisions and calculations with OK and NG status badges, and the report preview pane"><figcaption><p>The Project Manager tab</p></figcaption></figure>

Across the toolbar you can **Close Project**, **Print Project**, **Print Selected**, **Recalculate Project**, **Delete**, **Copy**, and **Add**. Below it, the **Division** list and the **Search** box narrow what the tree shows.

Each calculation carries a status badge, so you can see at a glance which ones pass and which need attention. The menu at the end of a row acts on that calculation, and the one beside a division acts on the division.

The building codes in force for the project are listed in the top right, and the button in the bottom right opens the [Project Manager Visualizer](https://enercalc.com/docs/user-manual/project-manager/project-manager-visualizer).

For full detail on divisions, the calculation list, and printing, see [Project Manager](https://enercalc.com/docs/user-manual/project-manager) in the User Manual.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://enercalc.com/docs/onboarding/program-overview/interface-navigation/project-manager.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
